Any contracted cadet will receive a monthly stipend allowance depending on their level in the AFROTC program.
- Professional Officer Course Cadets are contracted, and receive a stipend between $450-$500 per month.
- Contracted HSSP & ICSP recipients in the POC are contracted and also receive a stipend between $450-$500 per month in addition to their scholarship.
- Contracted HSSP & ICSP recipients in the GMC are contracted, and receive a stipend between $300-$350 per month in addition to their scholarship.
- Non-contracted GMC cadets do not receive stipend benefits.
- UI Cadets who have received an AFROTC scholarship will also receive a $5K/year room & board scholarship if living in the residence halls/dorms on campus. (Fraternity/sorority/off-campus living does not meet this criteria)
- Whitworth University: Students enrolled in the AFROTC program are eligible to receive a Military Service Scholarship of up to $1,500/year if their tuition isn’t fully covered by Air Force and Whitworth scholarships and grants. Students who earn a three- or four-year full tuition ROTC scholarship will receive a grant to cover room and board on campus, or a dollar amount to cover the costs of living off-campus not to exceed Whitworth’s standard room and board fee.
- For cadets pursuing careers in the medical, legal, or other high-interest career fields, there exist additional scholarship program opportunities. For information on these scholarships, please contact a cadre member.
